Set in a stunning Georgian building the Armagh County Museum, part of the National Museums of Northern Ireland, is the oldest county museum in Ireland located near Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. Visiting the Museum is the ideal way to experience the legacy of people associated with Armagh from Brian Boru (Bryan Boru) to Saint Patrick to Cu Chulainn.

The Museum architecture has a distinctive character making it one of the most unique buildings in the city. The Museum features collections telling of the culture and history of the county, from historical artefacts to bygone objects tell the stories of the people who lived and worked in this spiritual and history city. Exhibitions change throughout the year which makes it an ideal place to explore.

The Museum is open all year round but closed on Sundays.
